My name is Anastasia, and I am the great-great-granddaughter of Grandma Anna — the very woman with chocolate in her hands and care in her heart.

I never knew her, but I’ve always felt we were alike: in character, in warmth, and in the way we love the kitchen, where the scent isn’t just of baking — but of home.

Anna’s Story

Nearly a century ago, in a small village called Alpenblick near La Cure, on the border of France and Switzerland, my great-great-grandmother Anna began crafting her first chocolate masterpieces.

My great-great-grandfather had diabetes. So she began making special chocolates just for him — using natural ingredients and secret spices.

No sugar. Only natural components and one secret ingredient: love.

Her café was born from community and care. Even when her sweets became famous, Anna never saw it as a business — it was an act of giving.

A Notebook, A Childhood, A Calling

I used to peek at Anna’s old recipe notebook. It wasn’t just a collection of recipes — it was a woman’s story told not with words, but with flavor.

As I grew, I started baking too. First for family. Then for friends.

And one day, after tasting a new batch of truffles, someone said: “You have so much experience — why don’t you have your own factory?”

I smiled. But I already knew — the time had come to continue Anna’s story.

Our factory brings together two brands: Hanah — a premium line of sugar-free chocolate, and La D’Or — a tribute to Anna’s café, La Truffe D’Or.
